The suede (leather) sole is ultra-soft and completely flexible. Like a second skin, it provides a near-barefoot walking experience. Beyond its pleasant and soft feel, this sole allows the foot muscles to better feel the ground than with a thick, rigid sole. This promotes healthy spinal development and faster balance acquisition. The durability of the leather also protects little feet from the cold and rough surfaces of the ground. The elasticated ankle allows the child to put the shoes on very easily, all by themselves. It also ensures that the slippers stay securely on the feet. We recommend cleaning with a damp cloth, using a mild, natural soap if necessary. The suede sole will develop a patina over time; it can be gently brushed to restore its texture.
